2025 Instructional Swim Program - 2025 Swim Session 1 This class is designed to provide instruction on how to make good choices while at any type of waterfront whether it be a beach, lake, pool, or even at home. This class will be held at Galliens town beach, 39 Pond Road, Derry and will take place during a two week session. The program is for children ages 4-8yrs, as of June 1, 2025. the swimmers will be assessed and broken down into three groups:Minnows- Beginners needing full support and water comfortTurtles- Intermediate swimmers focusing on flotation and strokesSharks- Advanced swimmers building endurance and stroke refinementThis program is for both Derry residents ($50.00) and non-residents ($65.00). Residents are permitted to stay at the park after class and paying the daily fee or showing your season pass, non- residents cannot stay unless they are guests to a Derry resident, following the 2 non-residents per Derry resident guest, and pay the $4.00 non resident fee.

Judo 2024-2025 - Summer Session 3 The Derry Judo Club prides itself on quality, affordability, safety, and cleanliness and believes in supporting it's students during class and life. This program is recognized by the United States Judo Association (USJA) nationally and sanctions all ranks accordingly. Sessions are held on Monday's and Wednesday's from 6:30pm- 8:30pm at Veteran's Hall, 31 West Broadway, Derry, NH. Sessions are $35.00 per person with a family rate of $25.00. A current USJA membership is required to participate in this program, that cost is $75.00 annually.

Lil' Sluggers Skills & Drills - Crickets This program introduces the fundamentals of baseball and softball to children ages 6 though 9. Led by volunteer coaches and overseen by the Recreation Program Supervisor; children will meet twice weekly with their team from 6:00pm- 7:00pm. The program will take place at Don Ball Park on Humphrey Road for 6 weeks beginning the first full week of July, weather permitting. All participants will receive a team t-shirt at the start of the season during the first week of the program.
